The eighth Energy Council between the European Union and the United States of America took place today, 12 July, in Brussels, co-chaired by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union, Maroš Šefčovič, European Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy, Miguel Arias Cañete, US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo and US Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry.
