Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič in Germany to discuss electro mobility, batteries and a just transition from coal
European Commission's Vice-President for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič travels to Germany for a two-day series of meetings focused mainly on Europe's competiveness in the field of electro mobility and the support for a just transition in coal-intensive regions.He spoke in Berlin at the Electric Mobility Networking Conference 2018 today, alongside Germany's Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier, with a special focus on the battery cell production in Europe.
